Dr. Sam Wechsler combines expertise, compassion, and a holistic philosophy to deliver exceptional care at Friends & Family Spinal Care. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with his undergraduate degree and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic summa cum laude from Life Chiropractic College West. Before joining the team, he practiced a unique chiropractic technique of spinal corrective care in Honolulu, Hawaii, but chose to move to Florida to specialize in the highly precise and powerful NUCCA upper cervical technique.
Dr. Wechsler’s journey into chiropractic was shaped by his love of travel and exploration. Before pursuing chiropractic, he spent three years teaching English in Shenzhen, China, where his experiences inspired him to seek a career that blended science, philosophy, and art. With both parents being medical doctors, Dr. Wechsler grew up with a strong foundation in healthcare but ultimately chose chiropractic for its holistic and patient-centered approach.
Outside the office, Dr. Wechsler stays active and adventurous. An avid traveler, he enjoys discovering new places and experiences, often alongside his Siberian husky, Atlas. He continually challenges himself with ambitious goals, including completing a triathlon and marathon. Dr. Wechsler’s hobbies include soccer, rock climbing, yoga, and cold plunging, which all reflect his dedication to physical and mental wellness.
